Happy new year!
So it's the beginning of the year and I talked previously about worrying about my yearly themes in a previous post. I wanted to unveil my theme sooner, but work and illness and most of Los Angeles catching fire got in the way.
Thankfully, I'm safe and quickly recovering, so now I can finally unveil this year's theme...or themes? they go a bit hand in hand
Rhythm
I mentioned previously that I didn't like most of the options I was thinking of because they felt too "static" after the Year of Momentum. I did in fact settle on "rhythm" because I wanted to maintain the momentum and "rhythms" I had established for myself in 2024.
Renewal
This one is a little more abstract, but "renewal" is all about renewing things that I probably neglected in 2024. While I was trying to "find myself" and build my career, etcetera, I ended up forgetting about my social life and it took a bit of a backseat. So I want to take more time this year to really renew those relationships and friendships again.
This also extends to some creative hobbies I neglected, mostly music and starting my new hobby of needle felting.
